Integrating Accessibility into Online Higher Education
More than 1 billion people in world today have a disability (World Health Organization, 2011). Therefore, it is critical that educational institutions and leaders work collaboratively to discuss, develop, and share policies and best practices to increase educational and workforce accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Sloan Consortium has created the Accessibility Special Interest Group (SIG) to bring together educational leaders and renowned experts to increase global awareness and commitment to accessibility.
